The plan of businesses

The plan or project of businesses consists of a document where we indicated and we explained the idea of the business which we want to create, the factors that have motivated this idea and the reasons for which we thought that we are going to be successful, the needs that are going away to satisfy, our projections or budgets, the objectives of the businesses and the strategies that we are going to use to reach these objectives.

The development of a plan of businesses is a stage through which all entrepreneur must happen before initiating a business, this one will allow us to know the viability and yield of the future business will serve, us like instrument as planning, coordination and of evaluation, and, in case we want to accede on a credit, it will allow to demonstrate the attractiveness us of the project and of which we will be able to pay the debt opportunely.

Reasons of administration

The business plan will serve to us as model or guides to implement and to administer our business, for example, serves to us:

• like planning instrument: allowing us to plan objectives, the use of resources, strategies and courses or steps to follow; and, that way, to reduce the uncertainty and to diminish the risks.
• like coordination instrument: serving to us as guide to be able to coordinate activities, for example, when determining who will be the ones in charge to carry out certain tasks.
• like evaluation and reference instrument: allowing us to compare the results obtained with the planned ones, that is to say, being allowed to know us if really we are achieving the pre-selected targets so that, on the contrary, to be able to take the corrective measures.

Reasons of yield

The plan of businesses will allow us to know, through the projection of the income and debits, if our business would be profitable (when the projected income are majors that the debits), and to how much it would promote the yield. Or if he would not be profitable (when the projected income are minors who the debits) and, in that case, knowledge that our idea of business is not feasible and, therefore, we must look for new ideas.

Reasons of financing

Developing a good plan of businesses, will allow to demonstrate before third parties the viability us of the project, for example:

• it will allow to demonstrate us before a bank, financial organization or moneylender (including a familiar that doubts to give money to us), at the time of asking for a loan, of which our business will be profitable and that, therefore, we will be able to opportunely pay the contracted debt.
• in case we want to have some partner for the creation of our business, it will allow to demonstrate the attractiveness us of the idea of the business and, that way, to be able to convince it.

For the development of the plan of businesses, a structure, format or defined method do not exist, but we can elaborate it as better we created advisable, according to our needs either objectives, or using it as guide of implementation, knowing the yield the future business, presenting/displaying it before third parties, etc. Considering, for example, of which if our objective includes presenting/displaying it before third parties for the request of a credit, we must make it most complete possible, with arguments or sustained and sufficient information that allows us to convince them of the viability of the project, and of which we will be able to pay the debt opportunely.
