If our premises imply the rent or the purchase of the premises where we will take care of our clients, we must take our time in the decision to choose the location of this premises; a mistaken location can mean the failure, whereas a good location can ensure the success to us.

We see next some advice or recommendations that will help us at the time of choosing the location of our business.

Place in agreement with the business

An important point that we must take into account at the time of choosing the location of our business, is that the site and the environs “are complemented” with the style of the business, for example, if our business consists of a restaurant type gourmet, we must look for a calm zone, something “residential” and, if it is possible, with certain vegetation to the environs; on the contrary, if our business consists of a fast restaurant of food, we must look for a commercial zone with high flow of consumers.

To consider our objective public

When choosing the location of our premises, we must take into account our objective public, that is to say, the consumers to who they will go directed to our products or services.

In theory, while more close it is our business of where they live, they frequent or they journey the consumers who conform our objective public, majors possibilities we will have visit to us, nevertheless, if our product or service is of quality, and we make a suitable promotion or publicity, the consumers will follow to us to where we fence.

Also, before acquiring the premises, we must make sure that we will not have problems with the neighbors, for example, which they could complain in case of much noise.

Parking

And, finally, an advice who seems obvious, but that often we ignored and just we in the end realize, is the one to assure to us that the premises that we are going to rent or to buy, counts on sufficient parking for the vehicles of our clients (of course, as long as it is necessary).

It is first that we must take into account when consulting or to visit a local potential; that way, we will save time in our search, since quickly we will be discarding the premises that do not count on our necessity of parking.
