How to let grow a business

To let grow a business means to increase to the number of clients or the amount of the sales.
For it we can, for example, create new promotions of sales, enable the personnel, improve the productive processes, design new products or redesign those that already we have, to offer extra services, etc.
But when it is spoken to let grow a business, reference to a significant increase of the customer or the sales is made generally.
And the main forms to obtain it are: to be associated with other companies, to take care of new types of consumers, to increase the points of sale, to penetrate in external markets, to improve the service to the client and to increase the publicity.
We see next an explanation of each of these strategies:
To be associated with other companies
To be associated consists of realizing alliances with other companies with the purpose of to obtain a benefit for which of not being through an association, it would not be possible to be obtained.
These alliances could consist, for example, in agreements to combine resources (for example, financiers, humans, technological), to combine productive functions (for example, processes, distribution of products), to share information (for example, knowledge of the market), to share channels of distribution or points of sale, or customer (for example, in case both companies have different types from products, but similar type of clients, and it allows us to offer our products to its clients, and she, its products to ours), etc.
The idea to be associated is to look for companies of the same size that we, and with similar aspirations of growth that, some way, through some agreement, can be obtained a greater yield for both, or a competitive advantage before other rival companies.
To take care of new types of consumers
To take care of new types of consumers means to orient our products or services in such a way that they are directed to types of consumers different from which already we are taking care of, but without stopping taking care of these last ones.
For example, if our products or services are dedicated to people of a certain rank of age and a certain socioeconomic level, we could choose to also direct to us to people of other ranks of age and other socioeconomic levels.
For it can be necessary to create new goods or services, or simply to adapt the products that or we have, so that also they can satisfy the needs or desires with the other types of consumers.
To increase the points of sale
To increase the points of sale consists of increasing the places where we can offer or sell our products to the final consumers.
The idea to increase the points of sale is to extend our market and power to arrive at consumers of the same type which we are taking care of, but that is in places in which our products were not distributed.
In order to increase the points of sale, we can abrir the new premises, stores, branches or tax exemptions, we can make use of new intermediaries or distributers, or can create new channels of sales like, for example, the creation of a page Web where we offer and we sell our products.
To look for external markets
To export is a variation of the previous strategy, consists of taking care of new markets, but that are abroad.
In order to be able to export we must look for to make contact with enemy with intermediaries abroad who want to distribute or to sell our products, or to look for clients whom they buy to us directly.
The form simplest to obtain it is creating our page Web and to promote our products in Internet; another form to begin to export is participating in international fairs.
But before it we must consider that the first requirement to be able to export is to count on a product of very good quality.
To improve the service to the client
To offer a good service to the client is the most efficient form to let grow a business. It consists of offering a good attention, an amiable treatment, fulfilling the treatments and promises, to offer a fast attention, a customized treatment, etc.
For it is necessary to enable all our personnel, coverall that one that it must interact constantly with the client.
Offering a good service to the client allows us to grow, since not only we obtained that the client returns to buy to us or to visit to us, but also obtained that they recommend our products or services to other consumers.
To increase the publicity
Finally, another form to let grow a business is increasing the investment in publicity, for which it is not necessary to have to spend much money.
In order to increase the publicity we can, for example, make use of steering wheels, posters, pamphlets, cards, participate in fairs, create a page Web and make publicity in Internet, to give flatteries with the printed name of our company, etc.
But always considering that the best publicity is mouth to mouth, that consists of creating or offering to a product or service of very good quality, to the point that always allows us to be recommended by our clients.
