Requirements to elaborate a good plan of businesses

A plan of businesses can as guide have like objective being used for creation and management of a business, to evaluate the feasibility and yield of a project, to convince to a bank or financial organization to grant a loan, or to demonstrate attractive of the project to potential investors or partners.

But whatever objective, to be able to fulfill anyone of them, all plan of businesses, would have to fulfill the following requirements:

To demonstrate the attractiveness of the business idea

A business plan, besides describing to the new business or project, must demonstrate the attractiveness of this one.

For it, besides demonstrating with numbers the yield of the business, it must describe the plan throughout, the reasons for which the idea is really an opportunity of businesses.

These reasons could be conformed by a differentiating characteristic, a competitive advantage, an unsatisfied necessity, a tendency of consumption, a market in growth, etc.

To demonstrate professionalism

A plan of businesses must demonstrate professionalism in its elaboration.

It must demonstrate to be an elaborated good work and not one unexpected one, for example, must be based on an investigation of formal market, and count on realistic projections.

And, simultaneously, it must demonstrate that the business that will be realized will be a serious and organized business, for example, must indicate the organization of business, the structure, the positions the future and functions.

To be sustained well

A requirement in all plan of business, is that everything what to afir me in him, it must be well sustaining.

Or a projection, a rate of growth, a conclusion or any affirmation that are published, these must be properly sustained.

For it we must place all the necessary information that it allows to sustain the affirmed thing us, and to indicate the sources clearly from we have obtained where it.

To count on a good structure

A plan of businesses must tell on a good structure that allows that the reader can follow it and understand it.

A structure of a plan of common business is the following one:

• Executive summary: a summary of the other sections of the plan.
• Description of the business: a description of the business or product, its main characteristics, the objectives of the business and the strategies.
• Study of market: the characteristics of the objective public, the characteristics of the competition, the projection of sales and the plan of marketing.
• Technical study: engineering specifications of the business and the product, the productive process and the capacity of the business.
• Financial study: the investment, the financing, the budgets and the evaluation of the project.
• Organization: the structure of the business, the positions and the functions.

To be easy to understand

A plan of businesses must be a practical document, must mainly contain sufficient information related to the new business or project, but without entering too many details that could make difficult the reading or make lose the interest of the reader.

The plan of businesses must be clear and concise, nowadays nobody is interested in reading a voluminous plan of businesses; in case of being necessary to include greater information, this one can be including like attached documents, so that too much is not recharged the main part of the plan.
