An effective form to offer to a good attention and power to make specific a sale, is knowing beforehand the type or class client with whom we are dealing.
Whatever business or public who we have, generally, all client can be classified basically in 4 types or classes according to its behavior at the time of purchase.
We see next which are these 4 types of clients, and how we must deal with to each them:
1. The difficult client
The difficult client is the demanding client, is the client who always is complaining everything, that always finds a defect until in the minimum detail, than ever is satisfied, that creates to always be right, that it does not like contradicts that it, and that can until getting to put itself prepotent and aggressive.
First that we must make to deal with this type of client, he is to have patience and to maintain the calm, not to fall in his provocations, nor to discuss with him.
We must show a genuine interest by him, listening to kindly its complaints and solving them more soon possible, accepting elegant its critics, giving him the reason although in fact does not have it, satisfying as far as possible its reclamations, etc.
An effective form to fight with this type of client, is offering an excellent service to him to the client, in such a way that it exceeds what it hoped of us.
2. The friendly client
The friendly client is the amiable, likeable client, you cut, is the client who all business always wants to have, although sometimes can get to be very talkative, making us waste time.
In order to deal with this type of client, we must be amiable and friendly with him, although always trying to maintain certain distance, that is to say, not to give too much confidence him.
We must try to follow it in its conversation and its jokes, but to interrupt it courteously when the conversation has extended too much.
3. The timid client
The timid client is the client introvert, shut up, in the majority of the cases, uncertain and undecided.
This type of client usually has problems to decide its purchase, reason why we must try to give time him so that it chooses the indicated product, without interrupting it or pressing it. Or, in any case, to offer concrete products and few alternatives to him, in such a way that its decision is facilitated.
Also, this type of client usually has problems to communicate with clarity which is looking for, reason why we must inspire confidence to him and do to him the questions indicated they help that it to communicate better.
This type of client, generally, usually is easy to convince, but we got to him to sell a product that does not satisfy it, gets perhaps it to buy, but most probable it is than it does not return to visit to us more. Reason why we must have well-taken care of always to sell what really it was looking for to him, and to try to assure to us that it has been satisfied. To never be useful to us him.
4. The impatient client
The impatient client is the client who always is in a hurry, is the client who wants to enter the business, to buy and to go out more soon possible.
This type of client demands a fast attention, without mattering that there are other clients who are arriving before he, and, generally, ponte tense they make when it hope.
Reason why when we dealt with this type of client, we must let him know that we have included/understood that it is in a hurry, and to try to take care of it or to sell to him more soon possible.
