It identifies your competitive advantage to find your idea of business

One of the most effective forms to find a business idea (to know what business of putting), is being asked which or which are the competitive advantages that one or owns, soon to devise a business that allows to take advantage of these advantages.
When we spoke of competitive advantages we referred to advantages that one can have before other people (other entrepreneurs or industralists) or before businesses or existing companies, in any aspect that allows one to obtain a competitive position in enterprise terms.
These advantages them we can classify in personal competitive advantages and competitive advantages of business:
Personal competitive advantages
Personal competitive advantages are own advantages of our person, related to the knowledge, experiences, abilities, skills, personality or attitudes that one can have.
In order to find a business idea being useful our personal competitive advantage, we must, first of all, to identify this advantage, for example, asking to us in what we are good, or in what we emphasized or we excelled before the others; and then, to devise a business that allows to remove benefit us from it.
An example could be the one of a person who realizes her good taste by the good one to dress or the fashion, for example, when comparing itself with its friendships or being recognized by these.
Its good taste for the fashion would be its competitive advantage, and then, the ideas of businesses that this person could take into account, would be the businesses which they allow to take advantage of this competitive advantage, for example, a factory of preparation, a store of fashions, an academy of design of fashions, a consultant's office of fashions, etc.
Another example could be the one of a person who is good to write, this ability would be its competitive advantage; and then, indicated ideas of business for this person, would be the businesses that allow him to take advantage of this ability, for example, writing of books, articles in Internet, reviews of books, manuals for companies, pamphlets for agencies, etc.
Competitive advantages of business
Competitive advantages of businesses are own advantages of a business that allow one to obtain a competitive position with respect to similar businesses.
The competitive advantages of business can be in any aspect of the business, for example, a business can have competitive advantage in the attention to the client, its costs, the rapidity of their service, its distribution, infrastructure, location, technology, logistic, etc.
In order to find a business idea being useful our competitive advantage business, we must, in first place, to identify this advantage, for example, asking to us what knowledge we own that other businesses no, whereupon technology we told that other businesses do not count, what commercial contacts we own, what knowledge or experience of market we own that another business does not have, etc. and then, to devise a business that allows to remove to benefit from this advantage or advantages us.
An example could be a person who counts on the knowledge or the technology that allows him to make a certain product to a smaller cost than the one of the other existing businesses (and, therefore, to be able to soon sell it to a less price), but with the same quality.
This knowledge or technology would be its competitive advantage of business; and then, the idea of business indicated for this person, would be the creation of the business that takes advantage of this knowledge or technology.
