All good leader must count on the following capacities, abilities or characteristics:


Capacity to delegate authority

As leaders we must know when and to whom to delegate to him or to grant a greater authority to him, majors responsibility, major to be able of decisions, majors faculties. We must have the capacity to know when we can trust a worker so that this one can make its own decisions, without needing being consulting them.


We can grant greater authority to him, for example, when we noticed that a worker shows a good criterion, good common sense, responsibility, efficiency, etc. The same for the case of a good equipment or work group.


The knowledge to delegate authority, not only will allow a greater influence us like leader, but also, will give the possibility us of obtaining a greater motivation in the workers and, therefore, a greater productivity.


Capacity to motivate

How leaders we must know how how to motivate our employees, we must know the different techniques, methods or forms of motivation, and apply them constantly.


In the first place we must know or our workers, decipher its needs, motivations, tastes or I put personal; and then, to be able to offer necessary means to them so that they can satisfy these needs or so that they can fulfill its goals personal.


Capacity to communicate

A good leader must have the ability to communicate clearly his ideas and, in addition, to try that all the communication that of in the company, is also clear and comprehensible for all.


Also, the communication of the leader must be complete and coherent, it does not have to say or to affirm something, and through his acts, to contradict what says or to afir to me.


Capacity to handle to groups or work parties

The leader must be able to direct to groups or work parties, must have the ability to guide the group in the fulfillment of his objectives, in motivating them, maintaining the harmony of the group, and to solve problems or discrepancies that can happen.


In case of arising problems or discrepancies in the group, he must have the ability to track the causes, for example, making participate to all the members, and to be able to solve them.
